Marie-Thérèse Fourneau was a great French pianist, whose career was cut short by illness, and the few records she made are very rare and/or expensive, so Sakuraphon has done a great service to music lovers by assembling this CD. The quality of the sound is good and the presentation is elegant. I for one would greatly appreciate it if Sakuraphon were to offer next a CD of Marie-Thérèse Fourneau's Chopin record on Orphée STO 60.008D!
